a couple more from Sacramento

The Greats

Darren got to meet his great grandma and great grandpa today. They live in Fort Bragg so we don't get to see them too often. We met in Sacramento at my step mom Janell's house and had a great visit. Having Darren finally meet my grandparents was so special to me because they represent my dad, needless to say they adored him.

7 weeks old

Our little D Lou is 7 weeks old today. This week he has started to make little ahh and cooing noises (which are adorable) . He has also been holding his head up really well during his tummy time. I love him so much and dreading having to go back to work April 15th =(

Don't worry we don't dress up Baron, he only has this "big brother" shirt and a niner jersey, both of which he has only kept on for about two minutes for a picture.

Lou-Seal

Baron has been feeling a little left out of the blog lately so I thought I'd introduce you to his best friend Lou-Seal. Lou-Seal is from the build-a-bear shop located in center field at AT&T park. We got him two years ago at opening day never imagining that some day we would have a dog that couldn't live without him. Baron is never too far from him and even brings him to bed almost every night.

1 month portraits!

Another date night!

Last night Tim and I went to the Warriors game with my sister and her husband. My brother in law owns a shop called Walnut Creek Customs where they pretty much "pimp" out peoples cars. Its a really cool shop. Some of their customers lately have been Warriors players so they were given free tickets to last nights game. Unfortunately I didn't have my camera (it was in the diaper bag like everything else lately) But here is a pic of Darren and my mom who was so excited to get to babysit for the first time last night.

Tim's 26th

At the Sharks game

With Grammy and Pops
Today is Tims 26th birthday. We started out the evening at a nice dinner at P.F. Changs with Tim's parents and Uncle Peter. The food was really good. From there me and Tim went to the Sharks game (my gift to him). We decided not to take Darren cause it gets so loud in the stadium, so this marked the first time I had been away from him. It was hard but he was in very good hands with his Pops and Grammy. The Sharks went on to win the game in a shoot out!

Yesterday we went to Aunt Jan's house in Napa to celebrate Papa Munro's 87th birthday. Darren got to meet lots of family for the first time and got to take an awesome picture of the four generations of Munro men. Julie, Ron , Lily and Emma even made the drive from Riverside to help Papa celebrate his birthday.

Auntie Kim

Darren is one month old! We took him to take studio pictures today, but they won't be ready til' next week. I will post them as soon as I get them though. Darren's Auntie Kim came down to visit with him today. She lives in Walnut Creek and doesn't get to see him too often so it was a real treat.

A family car

We got a new car! Me and Tim have both had our fair share of crappy cars so we were both so excited to get a nice car. For the first time we looked at safety ratings and mpg instead of how fast the car goes or whether or not it would be fun to drive in the mud. A nice safe car for Darren.
