Santa Picture 2010

Darren was a little shy this year and was trying to hide from Santa, Braden had no idea what was going on and Baron was so excited to see Santa and be in the mall that he smiled super big!

11 weeks

Our baby is 11 weeks old! I heard him laugh for the first time this week and it was the cutest thing I have ever heard! I was tickling his little neck when he laughed and keep trying to get him to do it again but he just smiles and smiles, no more laughing yet.
My camera was misplaced by a mischievous little 22 month old (last I saw he was pretending to take pictures of Baron who was running away from him) so these pics are all from my phone this week.

I love this picture because he is talking, and always looks kind of confused when he talks.

Darren got a bunch of books from Aunt Carole and Uncle Mike that you can put your picture in, so over the weekend I put some of Braden's pictures in them too and they are so adorable. I let Darren pick which books I could give to Braden and even which pictures to put in, what a good big brother!

Christmas Tree

This post is a little late, but here are some pics of us at the Christmas tree lot. Darren had so much fun running around there and looking at the trees that he cried when we left!

Arts and Crafts

Ever since Darren had so much fun painting his Mickey and Minnie figurines, we've been doing a lot more stuff like that. Being Christmas time, all the stores have a lot of craft stuff for kids. This past week we made a Ginger Bread house (daddy brought home from trader joes) Christmas tree door hangings and painted ornaments that Auntie Kim gave us. Here are some pics.

ten weeks old

Braden is 10 weeks old today! He is such an amazing baby and we just love him so much. He is starting to hold his head up really well and even pushes his little chest off the ground too. The time is going by so fast, I just want to absorb every minute.

Darren was bringing his "friends" to Braden and was too cute to not take a picture.

nine weeks old

Braden is nine weeks old (and a couple days, not as easy to blog now that I'm back to work). Not much new to report, just trying to get back in the swing of things juggling work and boys. Braden and Darren have both adjusted extremely well to our new schedules.

2 month portaits

Today I had Braden's two month portraits taken, a couple days early so I could get them done before I go back to work. I'm always a little nervous taking the boys to get their pictures taken, hoping they aren't fussy or asleep. I have to stop stressing about it because my boys have yet to take a bad picture! These turned out so precious and I love them.

eight weeks old

Braden is eight weeks old today. He has had a busy past week too, he enjoyed his first Thanksgiving and his first family trip when we went to Gilroy Gardens yesterday. Just as we are getting a good little routine going I head back to work Wednesday. I am so sad about it and really don't want to go back, wish me luck.

Gilroy Gardens

Today was the last day of the season that Gilroy Gardens is open, talk about waiting to the last minute to use our free tickets. Although it was a little cold (not complaining though because last time we were there it was 103 degrees) we had a blast. The whole park was decorated for Christmas and looked so festive.
Darren's favorite part by far was riding the train, he smiled the WHOLE time! Braden was very good and slept most of the time.

Thanksgiving

Our Thanksgiving was wonderful and busy like usual. We spent the morning and early afternoon with my family and then headed over to the Munro's for dinner. Darren only took about a twenty minute nap in the car between houses, played hard at both and slept very well that night. Braden on the other hand slept at my mom's house, in the car and all through dinner (thanks for letting Mommy eat)!Overall, a great Thanksgiving.

Yoga with Nina

Darren super likes Nina and Star on the Goodnight show on the Sprout channel. Every night Nina teaches the kids a new stretch to do before bed. Darren has been doing the stretches along with her for about a week now and is so cute doing it!

seven weeks old

My little love is seven weeks old today. He is just adorable and becoming more and more responsive to us everyday, giving us lots of smiles and coos. Darren is still being an awesome big brother, giving Braden lots of love at every opportunity. As an added bonus, my two boys are on the same afternoon nap schedule, yay for Mommy!
