Our poor baby had been really sick the last couple days and has just been miserable. He got so tired the other day he fell asleep standing up. So hard to see your baby sick knowing all you can do is comfort them, I wish I could have taken all the pain away from him =(

Viva Las Vegas!

Tim, Darren and I went to Las Vegas for a bachelorette party this past weekend, I was the only one who brought their husband and baby. I wasn't quite ready to leave Darren over night yet, so Tim went with us so he could keep Darren at night while I went out with the girls and we did family stuff during the day. Pretty sweet deal for all of us!

On Friday we went to the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay with my friend Rosie and Darren fell asleep as soon as we got in line for the tickets! He woke up towards the end so we back tracked so he could see everything too, they even let us retake our photo because in the first one Darren was sleeping.

We had so much fun here and have lots more pictures to post (none of the bachelorette party though, what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!), this is just a sneak peek until we get our computer set up at the new house.

A big year for us

2010 is going to be a hard year to top for our family. We had our sons first birthday, expecting our second child in October and as of yesterday are home owners!
We have been looking at homes and placing over 40 bids since August of last year. Well yesterday all the hard work paid off, we got our keys!
Darren had so much fun running around all the empty bedrooms and in and out of closets, it is such an amazing feeling to have a our own home. For those of you who have been to our apartment know we were busting out of it. Baron will finally have a nice big back yard to run around in too! The process of moving has already begun and we hope to be fully moved in by the end of the month. Thank you to all of our friends and family who have already graciously offered to help paint, pack and move.
We are so blessed to have such great people in our lives, thank you all!

Best buds

Darren and Baron have always gotten along very well and seem to just be getting closer. They give each other kisses in the morning when they wake up and when ever we come home Baron greets him.
So glad our boys get along so well!


Baron was on time out (under our bed) after being a bad boy and Darren was keeping him company until Mommy said he could come out.

Opening Day 2010

Today was the Giants home opener. Tim and I have gone for the past 6 years to opening day. Its the best game of the year, you have all the real fans there, the blue angels do a fly by and everyone is just pumped up.
Darren slept from the moment we put him in the stroller in the parking lot until the 5th inning!
The Giants beat the Braves in 13 innings, the longest opening day in San Francisco Giants history, we got our moneys worth. Darren is now 7-0 in regular season games, quite the little good luck charm if I do say so myself.

It begins again.....

Last week, we went to the first pre-season game at AT&T park. We lost badly to the A's but still had a blast being back in the ball park.
We had really good seats which kept Darren amused because he could see all the action very well.

Easter

This Easter was so much fun! Dare's first real egg hunt (even though they were all in very plain site) He was so cute throwing his eggs in his basket hard enough o break a few real eggs and bust open the plastic ones. The weather here was not so good and even had Darren looking for his eggs in the rain so he could still get the experience.
Tim made an amazing Easter dinner for our parents and with some help from the moms even did most of the clean up.

Dare had so much fun coloring eggs for the first time. He was a little rough and broke a couple eggs but all in good fun! Can't wait for him to hunt for them tomorrow.

We had another, more detailed, ultrasound yesterday. Everything looks good so far, they were even able to look at the baby's little tiny kidneys to check for the same kidney disease I have and just like Darren no sign of bad kidneys, YAY!
