This past weekend we had Papa Munro's memorial. Ron did the service and did an amazing job, he is an amazing speaker. It was so nice for the whole family to get together and remember Papa and share their memories and stories about him, he will be missed so much.
Papa was famous for putting the bows from his gifts on his head, so just seemed appropriate that we all do it that day too!

Happy Birthday Mom
Lets go Giants
Our Giants have finally made it back to the World Series! The first game is tonight against the Texas Rangers. The Giants are a big part of our lives, if you can remember our wedding cake topper was a little bride and groom wearing Giants hats! Darren went to his first game opening day 2009 when he was just 8 weeks old and even got his name in The San Francisco Chronicle for being there. Weather permitting Braden will experience his first time at the ballparks McCovey Cove tomorrow, game 2.
Good Luck to our starting pitcher tonight Tim Lincecum (back to back Cy young winner)
Go Giants!!!!!

three weeks old
Three weeks old! This past week Braden has begun to stay awake for longer stretches of time, not just waking up to eat anymore so its been really nice to actually see his little eyes open. He is adorable and already showing his own personality.
Today is Tim's last day home, back to work tomorrow =( He has been such a huge help taking care of both boys.

two weeks old
Braden is two weeks old. Things are great here at home with all the boys. Tim is still off work with me which is a huge help and our moms have been bringing us dinner which is very much appreciated! Our sleeping issue where night is day and day is night is definitely starting to improve and even getting a good four hour stretch at night =)
Having two boys is way harder than having one but so far I think we are doing a pretty good job getting used to every ones needs and its worth it all.
Darren woke up when the baby started to cry and then fell asleep patting him on the back....adorable!!!!

Pumpkin Patch
Today we took the boys to the Ardenwood Farms pumpkin patch. Darren loved it but I think enjoyed playing with the dirt more so than picking out a pumpkin. When we first got to the patch he kept trying to kick the pumpkins and was calling them all balls, we quickly stopped that =)
Dressing the boys in Halloween colors is never going to be a problem in our house, we have an abundance of orange and black! Go Giants who beat the Phillies in the first game of the NLCS today.

Braden's newborn photos
Here are Braden's newborn pictures! I am in love with them, they turned out so well. The only problem is now I have to go out and buy more frames! It was so hard to narrow down my favorites because there are so many.
Thank you again to De Anna for taking them, she is an amazing photographer and has a great talent for posing newborns as you can clearly see.
I had too many favorites for one post, so another is on its way!

one week old
Braden is already one week old and adjusting to life at home very well. We still mainly sleep through out the whole day (night time is another story). On Saturday we had his newborn pictures taken by a good friend of the family, De Anna, she also took Darren's newborn pictures which if you remember turned out amazing! So an awesome blog is on its way!

new use for an old toy
Darren has completely ignored these ring toys for about six months. When he finally pulled them out from the bottom of his toy bin he pulled them of the bag so hard one flew out and landed on Baron's back. This was the funniest thing in the world to Darren and he followed the dog around for the rest of the night trying to balance the rings on his back. At one point he was even stacking them on his tail!
Our good Baron was very tolerant and just kept getting up and walking away, he finally gave up and let Darren sit on top of him until he had it out of his system. Too bad for Baron Dare hasn't forgotten about it yet cause today is the third day I saw him doing it, hopefully for Baron's sake Darren will find interest in a new toy soon.
