another mickey mouse birthday

Darren is having another Mickey Mouse birthday this year, he loves Mickey so so much. Even now he is sitting behind me pointing to the screen "Ma Ma Ma" "Um Mom Mickey Mouse"

Since we used the Mickey Mouse invitations from the store last year I thought I would make his invites this year, and I think they turned out pretty cute.

Oops, forgot to post Braden's 3 month bear picture! He is getting so big and cuter by the minute. He is such a little chatter box lately, the last two nights I hear him chatting away to himself at like three in the morning and then just kind of puts himself back to sleep.
Loved the series of bathtub pictures too, he is such a happy little baby in the tub and loves watching Darren splash around.

I love love love getting pictures texts of my boys while I'm at work. Tim is really good about it and sends a couple every day. Maureen sends them too and it is so refreshing to get to see my boys in between working. Here are my favorite of each boy this week.

girls night out

My best friend Carly was in town this weekend for bridal shower and bachelorette party.
I forgot my camera at the shower (who can take pictures when trying to keep a 3 month and a 23 month old entertained anyways) and of course no cameras allowed that night!
We had so much fun and it really makes me wish she would move back. She also has two babies less than two years apart and it would be so great to get all of them together. We've had four babies in the last two and a half years between us!

The boys first 49ers game

We were lucky enough to come across free tickets to the niners game this past Sunday (seems to happen quite a lot with sporting events because everyone knows Tim is such a big sports fan) We only stayed until half time because Darren fell asleep after being there about ten minutes and it was a little cold out too. Braden was super warm though, wearing 2 pairs of jammies and then the big snuggly grey outfit on top.

We got together with a few friends from high school last week that hadn't met Braden yet, it was really nice to all get together again, hopefully I can talk some of them in to having babies soon so we can do play dates!

The boys got so many things for Christmas, that we are so grateful for, and we are trying to spread out time in between bringing them down from the closet otherwise things don't all get around to being played with. Here are a couple pictures of Darren playing with some of his new toys.

Happy New Year!

3 months old!

Our little guy is three months old! It is crazy how fast the time goes by, I said it with Darren too but you just forget how quickly it goes by. Braden is doing amazing, my little angel has been sleeping through the night since he was 5 weeks old (very different from Darren who started at around 11 months!). Braden just has the cutest little personality and he really does complete our family.

Christmas day

Christmas day was spent between both houses where the boys were surrounded with love. For some reason I don't have group pictures from this day but it was fun and had a great time with both families.

Christmas morning

Waking up Christmas morning was a little slow in our house. Darren was not too sure what was going on and had to be talked into opening his gifts, probably won't be the case next year.
The gift we were most excited about giving him (a pillow pet) he kind of ignored. He loves the pillow pet website and anytime me or Tim is on the computer he says "Pet" or "the pets?" and he just scrolls through the website looking at all of them over and over again. He has played with it a little the last couple days but still not quite the reaction I expected. He has so much new stuff though I think he was a little overwhelmed.

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve started with mass with the Munro's and our boys did flawless in church! Darren sat on Pops lap the whole time and Braden was as quite as he has ever been for an hour and half block of time without sleeping!
After mass of course was the fast food run which I think Darren really enjoyed, he didn't participate last year, so this was his first real exposure to it. After gorging on delicious fast food we exchanged gifts with Uncle Peter and Julie and Ron (another Christmas eve tradition)

Christmas Eve part 2

So glad to be blogging again, Tim got me an awesome camera for Christmas but the memory card would not read in our computer. We got our new laptop set up last night and I'm back!

The second half of our Christmas Eve was spent at my families house with a gift exchange and games. Our boys opened lots of presents too! Darren would get very focused on one gift at a time so it took him quite awhile to get everything open. Very cute that he took the time to appreciate every gift.
