Our boys made it through a whole game. We were there before the game started and made it through the ninth! The boys have always been very good at the ballpark but we usually wind up leaving a little early and or sometimes getting there a little late, we just figure why push our luck so we always leave before anyone gets close to being unhappy. We sat in our seats for five innings and then walked around, got food and shopped the rest of the game. Good job guys!

Oh yeah and the Giants beat the Indians getting the sweep!!

The Alameda County Fair

After the Discovery Museum we came home, picked up Daddy and headed to the fair. It was a perfect night for the fair, not cold not hot, just right. We started at the petting zoo that Darren was not too fond of, can't blame him sometimes the animals get a little too aggressive for me too. In one of the pictures Darren is crossing his arms because the animals wouldn't leave him alone =)
We won more fish so we're going to give that a try again, if you recall from a previous blog we won fish at a fair last year (Buster and Posey) who only lasted a day and a half. Hopefully these guys, which Darren has named Mickey Mouse and Fish, have a better run with us.
Towards the end of the night we even got to see part of the concert which was Tower of Power, Tim's favorite part of the night!

The Children's Discovery Museum

Today we went to the Children's Discovery Museum in San Jose. We got there pretty early to beat the crowds and it worked, the museum wasn't crowded at all and all the kids had a blast. There was so much to do here and the best part is that it is all hands on. The kids were thoroughly amused here for hours and think they could have stayed all day if we let them. There was a water works room, a bubble room, a mammoth discovery room where they could dig for fossils, an invention room and even a room upstairs that Braden could crawl around in. All the kiddos were on their best behavior too, no melt downs from anyone, they all played well together, all stopped for lunch without any complaints and even all left the museum all smiles....a very good day.

Happy Hollow

Happy Hollow was so fun! It exceeded all of my expectations and the kids loved it. There was an awesome park for the kids and lots and lots of stuff to see (including a little zoo). Little miss Emma was even brave enough to ride the roller coaster. Despite the heat, we had a blast and will definitely be visiting there again.

Happy Father's Day 2011

Father's day was spent all over the place this year. We had breakfast with my parents, then to Happy Hollow with the boys, Julie, Ron and the girls and then back to Tim's parents for dinner. A very busy day but a great one.
Happy Father's day to all the grandfathers, godfathers and dads, those who are with us and those who are not, we love you all.

Darren is not the easiest person to get pictures of these days, but it turns out he loves to see his face on the screen of my phone when you take pictures of yourself. Good for me because now i can get some smiley pictures of him.

another milestone

Last night Braden tried to pull himself up out of the bathtub to reach a toy that he had dropped over, this got me thinking maybe he was strong enough to stand up, so I tried and he did it! One time this afternoon he was so focused on a toy that he was holding that he stood up for about two seconds without holding onto anything!
This picture is from today when Tim brought the boys to meet me for lunch, which they do every Thursday (love it).

Braden sat in a shopping cart for the first time a week or two ago at a quick trip to Michaels with Mommy, but yesterday was a real shopping day. He LOVED it, he was adores the new view and we got so many compliments on how precious are boys are yesterday. They looked so cute riding in the cart together.
