Yoga with Nina
Darren super likes Nina and Star on the Goodnight show on the Sprout channel. Every night Nina teaches the kids a new stretch to do before bed. Darren has been doing the stretches along with her for about a week now and is so cute doing it!

five weeks old
Braden is five weeks old today and also had his one month well check with our doctor today too. Our little man is 11 pounds, a full three pounds more than Darren was at this same age! All in all he is doing very well, he is in the 75th percentile for weight and 65th percentile for height.
Just within the last couple days he is becoming more vocal with oohs and ahhs, so cute!

The Giants are the World Champions!
The Giants won the World Series, they are the best baseball players in the world right now!
Today we headed up to San Francisco for the "Parade of Champions", a parade with all the players and the whole Giants organization that started in the financial district and ended at Civic Center where the Giants received a key to the city. We were so lucky and hit virtually no traffic and found a fairly close parking spot to the parade route. We found a good spot to stand and within about two minutes all the key players in the parade, Bruce Bochey holding the trophy and all the players in cable cars, went right in front of us. Tim and Darren were right up in the crowd while me and Braden stayed back where it was a little quieter. It was an amazing experience that I'm glad we were a part of.
I can finally get Darren's hair cut too. Tim is a pretty superstitious guy when it comes to sports (he still thinks the Giants lost the 2002 World Series because he is had to use the bathroom in the middle of game six) and decided in September that the Giants might lose if I get Darren's hair cut!
Our little Braden has also been nicknamed "the magic baby" by one of Tim's co-workers who is a Dodgers fan who thinks that the birth of Braden has brought them luck. That one I have to agree with too because in early September Jerry, Tim's dad, texted me saying that Braden could not be born until the Giants clinched the NL West. He jokingly texted me through out the month with things like "Gotta beat the Padres" or "maybe this week". So the Giants clinched October 3rd and Braden was born in the early morning October 4th!
Spring training starts in four months!!!!

Halloween 2010
We had a great Halloween this year which included another Giants win! We were able to see both sets of grandparents and squeeze in some trick or treating. Tim stayed at the house to pass out candy which was also a first for us because we never had trick or treaters in our apartment and much to our surprise we had about 75 kids come by!
This was the first year Darren could go out and trick or treat (last year he wasn't walking yet) and I have to say he caught on really quick. I was holding his trick or treat bucket in between houses at first because he didn't want to hold it and then he would come get it from me before going up to the houses. His Uncle Joey went trick or treating with him and I think that's why he caught on so quick, he wants to do everything Joey does! He never got tired and by the end of the night my mom was holding Dare's trick or treat bucket because it was too heavy for him.
It wasn't until we let Darren try a bite of a candy bar later that night that he realized what he had been getting from all those houses...CANDY! He was so excited after that and just kept handing me and Tim different candies he wanted to try. He was only aloud two and then was just as content pouring the bucket out and putting it all back in.
FYI Braden slept the entire time we were out trick or treating, but next year big brother Darren can show him how it's done!
