Happy Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to our amazing mothers. They both love and support us so much. They are the most selfless people I know and would do anything for their children and grandchildren. Thank you so much for the hundreds of things you do for us. Love you!

We went to our first "kids" party today, our friend Ginger turned one years old. We got to see all the fun stuff we have to look forward to. Happy Birthday Ginger!

the perfect picture.....

Recently a friend was telling me how photogenic she thought Darren was, of course I agreed because I do after all have a gorgeous baby. Then she said that every picture I take of him is perfect, so I thought I would post a blog about the quest for the perfect picture. Sure I get lots of great pictures of Darren but for every perfect one you see I probably took like ten of the same pose to get that perfect one. Enjoy the pics that didn't make the cut.

3 months old!

3 months old today! He is becoming more of an infant and less like a newborn. He just started grabbing at his toys and realizing that when he hits them they make noises...he loves it. Just today I noticed him looking at his own feet and trying to grab at them and then talking to them. I can't wait to see whats next.

I try to go home on my lunch breaks as much as possible even if I only get to see him for 15 minutes. It is always well worth it and lately he has been all smiles as soon as I walk through the door. It definitely gets me through the rest of the day.

Sundays are the best. After church and breakfast with Pops and Grammy, we just sat around the house and relaxed. We took the boys to the park and just enjoyed them. Hope everyone else had just as good of a Sunday as we did.

12 weeks

We've had a pretty quiet week, just enjoying Darren. He has been playing with his toys (sitting in his bouncer and tummy time mats) for longer stretches of time and seems to really be growing out of his fussy stage. He is a very curious baby, always looking around and just recently trying to grab at his mobile and car seat toys. He is growing so fast!

and Mr Baron is 77 weeks old!

Baron has been so good with the baby that we decided to get him another Lou Seal at the ball park. We weren't too sure if he would take to it, but he did instantly. He was so excited to see the new Lou Seal, he took it and ran to bed. He now plays with them and loves them both equally.
