We had another ultrasound of the baby today. He is getting too big to get good pictures anymore though since not a lot of him will fit on the screen at once. This picture is his little face right in the middle and his leg going across the top starting to cover his face! He is already head down and measuring perfectly. 15 inches long and about three pounds.

Late fourth of July post
We were lucky enough to celebrate the fourth of July twice this year. The first as the Saturday night of the Salmon BBQ at my grandparent house. There we watched the firework show over the ocean and then left early enough Sunday to be home before dark. Since we have moved to Union City, they are legal here, Yay! We had so much fun lighting off our own and watching tons of neighbors light off their illegal ones too. It was like a regular firework show right in our own neighbor hood. I think Tim liked it more than Darren! The fireworks went on for hours and definatly a plus of moving to Union City!

baby in the mirror
Darren got the biggest kick out of playing with the baby in the mirror yesterday. I heard him talking to himself after his nap and went to go get him and he was pointing to his mirrored closets laughing. He has seen his reflection a bunch of times before but never had as much fun as yesterday! He kissed himself, danced with himself and even made me move his pony in front of the mirror so he could watch himself ride. He is so adorable and can always put a smile on my face!

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's house
My Grandparents have an amazing house with property all around them, growing up going there was always so much fun. Me and my sister would explore the woods behind the fields, go down to the creek, eat lots of wild berries, look for bugs, catch salamanders and just recently rummage through my grandpa's fresh garden full of fruits and vegies.
So I was so excited for Dare to really get to see some of this for the first time. He has been to small in the past, but this time he really got to explore a little. He walked the field length and back which is bigger than the pictures shows.
I can't wait for him and his little brother to see even more of what The Greats house has to offer!

World's Largest Salmon BBQ
Deiter dancing with a cow cut out at a bbq joint in Boonville, such a cute baby!
On Saturday we ventured up to Fort Bragg to visit with my grandparents and go to the worlds largest salmon bbq held in Noyo Harbor in Fort Bragg. We've been one other time, always held fourth of July weekend and well worth the trip. Delicious food and great company! After the bbq we went back to my grandparents house to visit and then off to the fireworks show over the ocean.
For being Darren's first time seeing big fireworks up in the sky his reaction wasn't that thrilling. Grant it he has been sick, but didn't really get too excited about the show, he watched intently but just not the reaction I expected. A quick trip but a great one!
