We spent our Labor Day at McCovey Cove watching the Giants kill the San Diego Padres 4 to 9. We couldn't have asked for better weather at the ballpark and of course our little guy was an angel.

As we were leaving the ballpark, we walked along China Basin where fans were able at one point to purchase personalized Giants tiles. We showed Darren the tile that was dedicated to his Great Grandpa Louis Ney whom he gets his middle name from. Definitely a special moment for Tim and Darren to share.

We've had a pretty quiet week around the house, here are some random pictures we took.

Can you guess whether or not Dare liked trying bananas for the first time!

We decided when we started Darren on foods that we would do all the vegetables first so that he wouldn't get used to the sweetness of the fruits and not like the veggies. Well apparently it worked because he hated his bananas! I never would have thought that bananas would be something that I would have to coax him into liking, peas...yes, carrots...yes but bananas? I tried them and they weren't overly tart just really sweet.

Hopefully he takes to the other fruits better.




Mommy made him plain oatmeal then he was all smiles.

6 month well check

Dr. Lin

Darren had his six month well check today. He got three immunizations and one oral med and did very well with all of them. He was putting on a show for all the girls, flashing his biggest smiles and then hiding his little face like he was bashful, what a little flirt!
His growth charts all looked great, averaging about 50th percentile in everything...right on track. He weighed in at 17 and a half pounds and is 27 inches long.

Game Day!

The boys were wearing their colors today for the Niners-Raiders pre-season game today. They look so cute wearing the matching jerseys watching the game. I love it! I love my boys!

For those of you who don't know, Tim, his dad and Lily all yell GAME DAY any time the Giants or Niners are playing. It's way cuter when Lil does it though. So, GAME DAY to everyone.

Christina's shower

We went to my friend Christina's baby shower today, she is 35 weeks pregnant with a baby boy named CJ. Congratulations Christina and Jay we can't wait to play with CJ!

Look who is sitting up!

Darren started sitting up a little bit last week, but this week he is really starting to master it. Before, he would fall over almost instantly, but now he is able to sit up and stay up. He has really seemed to like his new found freedom of sitting up to play with his toys.
